Evening in Paris

A poem by Joe Howard, 2005, “Evening in Paris”, 2 verses

The sun, a glaze of marble shines on the innocence,
I lie in the short grass, looking into the future.

The moon a shining biscuit covers the clouds,
And midnight bleeds into childhood dreams.
